Rural Opportunity Zone Initiative
The Purdue Center for Regional Development (PCRD), in partnership with the Indiana Office of Community Affairs (OCRA) and the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, launched the Rural Opportunity Zones Initiative (ROZI) as a direct result of funds received by USDA as part of Its Rural Business Development Grant (RBDG) grant program. The program provided technical assistance to rural communities with Qualified Opportunity Zones. Participating communities received training and guidance in identifying assets and opportunities in their community. Each participating community additionally received support in developing a marketable Opportunity Zone Investment Prospectus.
